Bahareh Kian-Afshar to star in new film 'Dream of Sohrab'

Bahareh Kian-Afshar has joined a new project 'Dream of Sohrab'.

Directed by Ali Ghavitan, the shooting of the film will kick off on July, 2018.

The movie is a biopic of notable Iranian poet and painter Sohrab Sepehri.

Sepehri who is a famous Iranian poet in modern poetry departed this life in 1980.

His works have been translated into many languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Swedish, Arabic, Turkish and Russian.

Born in 1983, Bahareh Kian-Afshar made her first appearance on TV with playing the role of Shadi Mostasharnia in the series ‘The Pahlavi Hat’ (2003).

This Iranian actress has performed in some movies, including ‘Sinners’ (2012) and ‘No Where, No Body’ (2012).

She has also appeared in the TV series ‘Sometimes a Look Back’ (2015) directed by Maziar Miri.
